Halloween Forecast for Metro Detroit Isn’t Very Scary

Tuesday's the pick day, with a predicted high temperature around 72.

METRO DETROIT, MI — All should be calm for Halloween festivities Monday night, according to the seven-day forecast from the National Weather Service. Make sure the kiddos wear layers under their costumes, because it Halloween will be chilly.

Temperatures bounce back on Tuesday and it will remain warm through Wednesday, but there are rain chances Tuesday night through Wednesday.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52; calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Monday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46; south wind around 8 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72; southwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Tuesday night: A 30 percent chance of rain after 2 a.m.; mostly cloudy, with a low around 56; west-southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of rain before 8 a.m., then a chance of rain after 2 p.m.; mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Wednesday night: Rain likely (70 percent chance), mainly after 8 p.m.; cloudy, with a low around 53.

Thursday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 61. Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 57. Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 57. Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.
