Man Arrested In Connection To Kidnapping, Killing Detroit Nurse: Cops
Jamere Miller, 36, was arrested in connection to the kidnapping and killing of a Detroit nurse, police said.

DETROIT — A man was arrested Sunday in connection to a slain nurse, who was kidnapped outside a Detroit hospital, Detroit Police Chief James White said.
Patrice Wilson, 29, was found shot to death Sunday morning inside her SUV at a Novi apartment complex after she was kidnapped Saturday when leaving her job at the Detroit Receiving Hospital in the 4200 block of St. Antoine St. in Detroit, White said.
Jamere Miller, 36, surrendered with his lawyer Sunday afternoon after learning police launched a manhunt after him in connection to the kidnapping and killing, White said.

White did not specify the charges against Miller. White did say that Miller and Wilson were dating and had recently broken up. White also said Miller has a violent criminal history that includes domestic abuse.
Police believe 36-year-old Jamere Miller kidnapped Wilson Saturday around 7:40 a.m. as she was leaving her job at the Detroit Receiving Hospital in the 4200 block of St. Antoine St. in Detroit.

Wilson was getting into the driver's side of her black 2020 Lincoln Nautilus when Miller approached her and forced his way into the SUV, pushing Wilson inside, police said.
The SUV then sped away south toward Interstate 75 and Mack Avenue, police said.
Police warned the community that Miller was armed and dangerous. He was last seen wearing a blonde wig. The black 2020 Lincoln Nautilus has a Michigan Plate #OPKS20.
Police did not reveal a possible motive for the kidnapping but said Wilson and Miller were dating and recently had broken up.
