Man Wanted For Connection To Fatal Hit-And-Run In Detroit

Police said a 68-year-old man was struck by a light blue Ford Taurus on Sunday at 6:10 p.m. near West Chicago Street and Schaefer Road.

DETROIT — Detroit Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man responsible for a fatal hit-and-run accident on the city's westside.

Police said a 68-year-old man was struck by a light blue Ford Taurus on Sunday at 6:10 p.m. near West Chicago Street and Schaefer Road. He later died from his injuries.

The driver did not stop and continued driving eastbound on West Chicago Street, police said.
