Metro Detroit 7-Day Forecast: Cold, More Snow for the Weekend

METRO DETROIT, MI — Snow will end Monday, but the morning commute will still be dicey. Road crews in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties will be out overnight, but roads may still be a mess when you head off to work.

And get ready — single digit temperatures are expected mid-week, and on Thursday, the high will only be around 14 degrees Fahrenheit.

There were plenty of headaches from the storm Sunday. Delta canceled 40 regional connector flights Sunday night. Earlier in the day, Delta Flight 274 from Buffalo landed safely, but the MD-88 slid off the taxiway into the grass while heading to the terminal.

Delta spokesman Anthony Black told the Detroit Free Press that an investigation is under way to determine the role of weather conditions in the mishap. There were 65 people on board, but there were no injuries.
