Metro Detroit, It's Going to Get Very Cold and Very Snowy
Missing winter? You won't be for long, according to a cold, snowy forecast for the next several days.

METRO DETROIT, MI — No matter how you measure it — by snow, or by bitter cold temperatures — winter is coming to Metro Detroit. Measurable snow is possible by the weekend, but before that, the coldest air of the season will move into the area Wednesday and stick around.
Temperatures won’t be above freezing on Thursday and Friday, and winds — gusting to as high as 23 mph Thursday and around 9 to 11 mph on Friday — will make it feel much colder, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
And then get ready for the snow. It’s likely both Saturday night and Sunday, and some forecast models say significant accumulation is possible — as much as 5 inches before it’s over.
