Rice fled the scene in her car after firing multiple shots into the Detroit home with four adults and a two-year-old child inside on the 9240 block of Broadstreet at 2:51 p.m., authorities said.

The 26-year-old man who Rice formerly dated, then walked outside and Rice retuned and fired two more shots at him and fled the scene again, authorities said.

When officers were investigating the scene, Rice returned again and fired three more shots in the direction of the officers, before driving away, authorities said.

Shortly later, a marked police car pursued Rice and she pulled over and was arrested without incident, authorities said.

Rice was arraigned in 36th District Court Friday and received a $500,000 cash bond. If she posts the bond, she will be under house arrest with a GPS tether. Her Probable Cause Conference is on Dec. 29 and her Preliminary Examination is on Jan. 5, the prosecutor's office said.
