'No Evidence' Detroit Jewish Leader's Killing Was Hate Crime: Police
Samantha Woll, 40, led the Isaac Agree Downtown Detroit Synagogue. She was found dead outside her Lafayette Park home, police said.

DETROIT — Detroit Police Chief James White said Sunday there's "no evidence" the killing of a Detroit synagogue president was motivated by antisemitism.
Samantha Woll, 40, was found stabbed to death Saturday morning outside her home in the 1300 block of Joliet Place, police said.
Woll was well known in the Detroit community and served as the board president of the Isaac Agree Downtown Detroit Synagogue in Downtown Detroit.

Police are investigating Woll's death as a homicide. Investigators are working with the FBI to forensically analyze all the information officials have gathered so far to determine a timeline that ultimately led to Woll’s death, White said.
"I again ask the community to remain patient while our investigators and law enforcement partners continue their work," White said. "Everything that can be done to bring this matter to closure is being called into service."
