Family of Detroit woman killed in suspected DUI crash urges safe driving this Labor Day (clickondetroit.com) — Detroit police are increasing traffic enforcement this Labor Day weekend after recent deadly crashes, including one that killed a local woman in July. Her family is urging residents to plan safe rides, while officials highlight options like designated drivers, ride-shares, and AAA's free Tow to Go service to prevent impaired driving tragedies.
   

5. Yoga Instructor at Detroit Yoga Lab Files Police Report After Older Student's Messages Turn 'Increasingly Familiar' (newsbeyonddetroit.net) — A Detroit Yoga Lab instructor in Midtown has filed a police report and seen a student banned after his social‑media messages and in‑person behavior allegedly became increasingly personal and unsettling.
