Police Chase Through Several Cities Ends in Rollover Crash
The two suspects received non-life-threatening injures and are in police custody.
DETROIT, MI — Two people are in police custody after leading Michigan State Police on a pursuit through multiple cities.
Michigan State Police said troopers at about noon Wednesday were requested to assist other agencies in following an armed car jacking suspect who was allegedly involved in several incidents in Detroit and Eastpointe.
Troopers, with the assistance of an aviation unit, discovered the suspect's location and attempted to stop them on Metro Parkway. The individual then led police on a pursuit in a subdivision along Metro Parkway and then east, through several cities, police said.

The suspect was approaching Dodge Park when he lost control of his vehicle, struck a curb and rolled over several times. Two people inside the vehicle received non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital, where they are in the custody of the Eastpointe Police Department.
Michigan State Police said no members of law enforcement or of the public were injured during the pursuit. A report will be submitted to prosecutors seeking charges for fleeing and eluding, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
