Popular Detroit Brewer Bringing New Concept To Former Founders Site
Eastern Market Brewing Co. is planning to move into the 14,000-square-foot Midtown space sometime in 2024.

DETROIT — A popular Detroit brewing company is moving into the old former Founders Detroit taproom with a new concept.
Eastern Market Brewing Co. is planning to open a self-serve taproom at 456 Charlotte St. in Detroit's Midtown, the former 14,000-square-foot space that Founders Brewing Co. occupied from 2017-23.
The new taproom, "Elephant & Co." will offer dozens of Eastern Market Brewing Co. beers, along with a Dooped Donuts cafe, which is the company's coffee and vegan donut venture. The taproom will also offer Detroit-style pizzas. Delivery service for its food and beer selections will also be available.
