Redford Man Killed Believed To Be Detroit Rapper: Report

Officials believe a popular Detroit-area rapper was shot to death in a Redford home, which was being used as a recoding studio.

REDFORD, MI — A man police found fatally shot in a Redford home Wednesday morning was believed to be a popular Detroit-area rapper, according to multiple reports.

The rapper was known as Bones Consistent on social media and was in his 30s, reports said.

The rapper was found dead by officers inside a Redford home on the 24800 block of Five Mile, just west of Telegraph in Redford. The unit was being used as a recording studio to make new music, police said.

Police found the rapper's gold Dodge Ram truck after it went missing following the shooting. However, police did not find the shooter, who they still consider "armed and dangerous."
