Cedars of Dexter Names Sharon Pedersen Executive Director
The Jackson resident will oversee daily operations at the retirement community in Dexter.

United Methodist Retirement Communities, an independent and assisted senior living company, has hired Sharon Pedersen as the executive director of the . Pedersen will oversee daily operations at the facility.
Pedersen has 16 years of experience in nonprofit management, including in the housing and mental health fields. Previously, she was in charge of organizational and program management, accounting, marketing and grant writing.
She earned a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Michigan. Pedersen resides in Jackson.
