Dexter's Encore Musical Theatre Nominated for Nine Rogue Gallery Awards
The local musical theater was among 26 theaters across the state nominated for an award in 2012.
The in Dexter has been nominated for the 2012 Rogue Gallery Awards.
The awards are given out yearly in recognition of excellence in the performing arts. This year’s nominees span 73 productions by 26 theaters and companies in Michigan.
"Congratulations to the members of my cast of The Light in the Piazza at The Encore who were nominated for the Rogue Gallery Awards," director Steve DeBruyne wrote on Facebook. "I am so proud of all of you."

- Best Supporting Actor Musical: Brian E. Buckner, Smokey Joe's Café
