Encore Theatre Seeks Male for Lead Role in Upcoming Musical
The theater is looking to re-cast the roll of Fabrizio Naccarelli in "The Light in the Piazza."

The in Dexter is seeking local actors to audition for its coming production, .
The theater sent out an urgent plea on its Facebook page Friday.
Steve DeBruyne, assistant artistic director at the Encore, said a conflict in scheduling required the theater to re-cast the role of Fabrizio Naccarelli.

"Unfortunately, the actor we had cast as Fabrizio is no longer available for the show and we are once again casting the role," DeBruyne said.
Naccarelli is described as a 20-year-old, good-looking and charming Florentine, speaks Italian and Engish with an Italian accent, and should be comfortable appearing shirtless on stage. Legitimate tenors are encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals take place Tuesdays through Fridays from 6-10 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., and Sundays 1-6 p.m. Technical rehearsal will take place on Aug. 27 from noon to midnight.
Performances take place Sept. 8 through Oct. 2, Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. There will be one Thursday matinee on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m. in addition to the 7 p.m. show.
