• Dexter Downs Monroe in SEC Red Opener (thesuntimesnews.com) — Dexter High's football team notched its first win of the season, beating Monroe 21-7 in an SEC Red opener relocated to Chelsea after storms cut power at Al Ritt Stadium. Backup quarterback Gavin Davis and a stingy Dreadnaughts defense led the way, and Dexter now prepares to visit Ann Arbor Huron on Thursday for another key conference test.
