• Data center news: Altman visits Saline data center, says it's ‘huge bet' on AI (planetdetroit.org) — Residents near a Dowagiac data center have filed a federal class-action lawsuit over what they describe as nonstop noise from the Hyperscale facility, operated by Alliance Cloud Services. Neighbors report around-the-clock humming at 50–62 decibels, say outdoor life and open windows are impossible, and allege a removed tree buffer and health impacts, while the company has not publicly responded.
   

• Dowagiac residents file suit against data center – WLKM Radio 95.9 FM (wlkm.com) — Neighbors living within a mile of Dowagiac’s Hyperscale data center have launched a federal class-action lawsuit, saying constant humming from cooling systems disrupts daily life inside their homes. They argue the operator, Alliance Cloud Services, hasn’t controlled offsite noise and hope the case forces meaningful changes at the four-year-old facility.
