Joseph C. Finch, D.O., a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. Following graduation from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Finch served a yearlong internship at the Ingham Regional Medical Center-Greenlawn Campus, Lansing, and his orthopedic surgery residency at Garden City Hospital. Dr. Finch then completed a post-doctoral fellowship in total joint reconstruction at the Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis.
In addition to being a practicing orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Finch serves on the clinical faculty of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties and is a diplomate of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. Dr. Finch is professionally affiliated with the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Association, and many medical organizations at the state and local level.
