Art Therapy for Cancer Patients Offered in Farmington Hills

At the Beaumont Cancer Center – Farmington Hills, formerly Botsford Cancer Center

Being diagnosed with cancer is certainly not easy. By participating and being creative through art, those affected by cancer can express their emotions in a safe and therapeutic environment. ”Gilda’s Club: Art Therapy for Cancer Patients” utilizes creative art workshops to help cancer patients and survivors manage emotional and psychological side effects of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Through these various art projects, participants are able to express hidden emotions and reduce stress, fear and anxiety. These FREE sessions meet every Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Beaumont Cancer Center – Farmington Hills, formerly Botsford Cancer Center, located at 27900 Grand River Ave. To reserve your spot, call 248-471-8120.
