Diagnosing and Treating Preschool Children with AD/HD - Dr. Pam McCaskill.

  • Early warning signs of ADHD and the importance of early intervention.
  • Everything you need to know about what to look for and how to treat the behavior and emotional difficulties during this age will be presented.
  • Early childhood teachers and parents of children with ADHD who have younger siblings may be especially interested in this topic given that ADHD is a genetic disorder that runs in families.  
  • Knowing the signs to look for at an early age and what to do while a child's brain is in the early stages of development is crucial in order to help children reach their highest potential both at home and in the school setting.

Dr. Pam McCaskill is a pediatric psychologist with a speciality in ADHD.  Dr. McCaskill runs a very active private practice and she is the director and owner of McCaskill Family Services in Plymouth, MI (www.mccaskillfamilyservices.com).  She also serves as the professional advisor for ChADD of Western-Wayne County and teaches workshops on ADHD and parenting the strong-willed child.

Meetings will be held at Way Elementary School, Long Lake Road, east of Telegraph, in Bloomfield Hills.

All GROUPS MEET MONDAY NIGHTS, 7:30 - 9:00 PM. Registration opens at 7:00 PM

If the Bloomfield Hills Schools are cancelled due to increment weather or other conditions, our phone line will indicate when meetings have to be cancelled.

All meetings free to CHADD members, $5 donation non-members.
