My wife and I have been taking our standard long-haired dachshund Mandy to Dog Gone Acres now for almost three years.  Why?  Because, today was a perfect example as to why we go there:

Mandy was exhibiting flea problems so we were not allowed to even take her out of the car and sit her on the ground.  The manager came out to the care and picked her up (she weighs 30 pounds) and took her right to the flea dip take and suggested that I go to VCA Farmington Hills Animal Hospital and obtain Front Line directly from my Veternarian....yes you can get it cheaper at PetSmart but Frontline according to VCA only backs their product if you purchase it from a Veterinarian.

Another reason we like going to Dog Gone Acres is that they go to great strides in protecting your pets by ensuring that all of their shots are up to date...no exceptions...no shots...no appointment.

Then of course there is the grooming.  Everytime we get Mandy is just georgeous
