Under overcast skies with an occasional sprinkle, the North Farmington High School Raiders opened their baseball season at home with a 8-0 win over crosstown rival the Falcons of Farmington. Using a combination of walks and timely hitting, along with the outstanding shutout pitching performance of senior captain Sterling Sharp, the Raiders cruised to an easy victory. In contrast, the Falcons sent four different pitchers to the mound and struggled at the plate, only managing a couple of base runners the entire game. The Raiders next take to the field at Livonia Stevenson on April 11th at 4:00 PM The Falcons meet the Harrison Hawks at Harrison Friday, April 12th at 4:00 PM
