Celebrating Diversity in School

Farmington Hills, MI (April 2017) — Educating students from varying backgrounds, St. Fabian Catholic School is hosting a day-long Diversity Day on Tuesday April 11.

“We will have seven rotating stations from the seven continents,” said Sharon Szuba, principal. “Students will dress in red/white/blue to show our similarities as Americans even though we have different heritage. We are stressing the theme "Agents of Change".

Students will eat pizza lunch together with sample deserts from some of the countries and will hear from storytellers at 12:30 p.m. for a presentation that includes instruments from around the world.
