Cork & Rye Adds Delivery Service Across Metro Detroit, Expands Gift Basket Offerings

Cork & Rye, a premier deli and café serving southeast Mich., today announced it has expanded its services, and delivery is now available on all orders from the restaurant. Delivery charges begin at about $5.00 per trip and are based on distance from the deli. Delivery is available on individual customer orders as well as residential and corporate catering orders.

“It’s something we’ve been thinking about since we opened in 2015,” said co-owner Randy Yono. “We definitely saw a demand to add delivery, especially from our catering clients. It’s tough to get out during the workday. We can do them a great service by not only preparing their lunch with fresh and flavorful ingredients, but also by making sure it’s there exactly where they need it, when they need it.”

Cork & Rye has also expanded gift basket offerings. With hundreds of pre-made baskets in-stock at any time, the company now prepares custom baskets for all occasions, including holiday baskets, host and hostess gifts, and corporate gifts. Gift basket consultants can suggest themes and then fill baskets with items that will be reflective of the tastes of the gift recipient. Customers can also suggest their own themes and select merchandise from the shop’s wide assortment of beverages and edible goodies.
