Couple Wanted In Oakland Co. Hit-And-Run Of Restaurant Server: Police
Police said the couple intentionally ran over a server after she confronted them about not paying their full bill at the restaurant.

KEEGO HARBOR, MI — Police are looking for a man and a woman wanted in connection with an "intentional hit-and-run" outside an Oakland County restaurant last week.
Police said a man and woman, both in their 50s, walked out of the El Camino Restaurant, located at 2807 Orchard Lake Road in Keego Harbor, at roughly 7:40 p.m. Friday without paying their full bill after a dispute over the service and food.
The pair got into a dark-colored 2005-2009 Mercedes C-Class with four doors and later-generation wheels outside the restaurant, according to police.

As the pair tried driving away, a server from the restaurant ran out to confront them about not paying their full bill, according to police.
The server, who was standing in front of the stopped car, told officers the pair laughed at her after she told them they still owed the balance of their bill, according to police.

The pair then backed up and maneuvered to drive around her, but the server stepped in front of the vehicle again to stop it, according to police.
That's when the driver knocked her down with the car, ran over her legs then drove away southwest on Orchard Lake Road, according to police.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she is expected to recover, according to police.
The server told WXYZ the pair was not satisfied with their drinks.
"She was unsatisfied with her drink, he said his beer was flat, so I proceed to make them more margaritas," the server told the news outlet. "I made them about three rounds of margaritas because they were not satisfied with any of the margaritas they had. After they drank about half of the margarita, they’d complain and ask for another one."
The dark-colored 2005-2009 Mercedes C-Class has a possible partial license #DY9003, according to police.
Anyone with information about the incident, the suspects, or the car was asked to call Keego Harbor Police Det. Robert Barnes at (248) 682-3030 or email him at barnes@khpd.org.
