Eight Local Merrill Lynch Advisors Honored As Best in State
2018 Barron's "Top 1,200 Financial Advisors" Recognizes Eight Metro Detroit Merrill Lynch Advisors. Seven Also Named As Forbes Best-In-State
Merrill Lynch has announced that eight metro Detroit financial advisors have been recognized on the 2018 Barron’s “Top 1,200 Financial Advisors” list. Four advisors based in Troy are Abraham Post, Dana Locniskar, Frank Migliazzo and Marie Vanerian. Melissa Spickler and Philip Appel have offices in Bloomfield Hills, Phillip Serra in Farmington Hills, and Leo Stevenson is based in Wyandotte. Their recognition on this list is an industry honor and acknowledgment of their accomplishments. Nationwide, 639 Merrill Lynch advisors are included on this year’s list. Advisors considered for the "Top 1,200 Financial Advisors" ranking have a minimum of seven years financial services experience and have been employed at their current firm for at least one year. Quantitative and qualitative measures used to determine the advisor rankings include: This is a list of the top advisors in each state, with the number of ranking spots determined by each state’s population and wealth. The rankings are based on assets under management, revenues generated by advisors for their firms, and the quality of the advisors’ practices.
Spickler, Vanerian, Serra, Migliazzo, Stevenson, Locniskar, and Post also were recently named to the Forbes “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” inaugural list. The Forbes list spotlights over 2,000 top-performing advisors across the country who were nominated by their firms—and then researched, interviewed and assigned a ranking within their respective states.
