The City of Farmington Hills would like you to participate in their "Small Step for Mother Earth" Walk to celebrate Earth Day today.
The schedule is as follows:
- 12:30 p.m. – Meet at the Heritage Park pavilion. Bring a picnic lunch and a reusable water bottle.
- 1:00 p.m. – Earth Day games
- 1:30 p.m. – “Small Steps for Mother Earth” 1.5 mile walk to City Hall going north on Farmington Road to Eleven Mile. Participants will pick up litter along the route.
- 2:30 p.m. - Tour the LEED Gold-certified Farmington Hills City Hall.
- 3:00 p.m. - Closing ceremony at City Hall.
- 3:30 p.m. - Shuttle provided back to Heritage Park to pick up cars.
