Oakland Schools Enrichment Expo

The public is invited to attend Oakland Schools’ first-ever Enrichment Expo from 2 p.m.-7 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011. The Enrichment Expo is perfect for teachers, school administrators, curriculum directors, PTO/PTAs, club sponsors, Boy/Girl Scout leaders, faith-based organizations, home school parents – any and all decision-makers who are looking for the perfect program, school assembly or field trip.

Visit the booths of cultural and educational performers and organizations, including the Arab American National Museum, Arts & Scraps, the Cultural Alliance of Southeastern Michigan, Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings, the Detroit Historical Museum, the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House, Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, Lorenzo Cultural Center, Mosaic Youth Theatre, and many more organizations, performers and artists who offer educational enrichment services. Grant writing workshops will be offered at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

While the Enrichment Expo is free, registration is necessary and can be done online at oakland.k12.mi.us (click on Register Online at the far right of the homepage, under Professional Development). Registrants will be included in a drawing for great door prizes and do not have to be Oakland County residents to attend.
