Opportunities in Cooperative Gardens Workshop

The City of Farmington Hills Commission for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (CEES) is hosting a free workshop tonight on “Opportunities in Cooperative Gardens.” In this workshop you will discuss the opportunities that gardens create when using neighborhood and business open spaces to cultivate local healthy food options for neighbors and coworkers. Guest speakers will include Trevor Johnson of New Dawn Gardenscapes, designer of client gardens and ecosystems and manager of the Ferndale and Royal Oak community farms, and Charmaine Kettler-Schmult, Community Development Coordinator for the City of Farmington Hills.

Please register in advance for this free workshop.
