PTA Student Forum "High School Relationships"

Farmington High School Parent Teacher Student Association (FHS PTSA) is hosting a district-wide student forum on Monday, April 18 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the FHS cafeteria. “High School Relationships: a Dialogue for Students” will provide high school students with the opportunity to talk and brainstorm about everyday issues they face: Dealing with Adults, Dating (are you READY for a relationship?), self respect and confidence (What about Me?), classmates, cliques and group pressures (What about Us?). Breakout sessions will be facilitated by trained adults assisted by FHS PTSA and STRIKE Achievement Team members. Dinner will be served starting at 6:45, free of charge. 

The first 50 students will receive a ticket to claim a free PREMIERE movie pass donated by Emagine Theatre. There will also be a prize drawing at the end of the event that featuring a grand prize for a student and three friends to watch a 30 minute live in-studio broadcast of MOJO in the Morning on Channel 955 FM donated by Clear Channel Communications.

The student forum topic was chosen by students for students.  The forum is sponsored by the Farmington Area PTA Council and Farmington Public Schools.
