Where Do the Children Play?

Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society and Friends of Apple Island present Where Do the Children Play?, a screening of the PBS award-winning documentary, followed by a forum with Elizabeth Goodenough, University of Michigan lecturer, scholar in childhood studies and author of the book Secret Spaces of Childhood that inspired the documentary. Parents, educators and organizations will learn about the Michigan “No Child Left Inside” coalition, the cutting edge movement of free play outdoors, and how to get children more active in their backyards, neighborhoods and communities.
