Guest speaker Maureen Krauss of the Oakland County Economic Development Commission, recently named one of Crain's Detroit Business Magazine's "Women to Watch." The Department focuses on two main areas, community development and business support services. In 2003, Maureen served as the president of the Michigan Economic Developers Association. She is also active on several community boards including the Rochester Community Schools Foundation, the North Oakland YMCA, and The Legacy Project..
