Experience helps people reconnecting with faith

Read Big. Read Real. Read Together.

Many Americans will make important resolutions in the New Year. For some it will be to eat healthier. Others will want to exercise more. And some will want to reconnect with their faith.

Faith Covenant Church in Farmington Hills will be offering the Community Bible Experience to help local people read the New Testament in small groups. Community Bible Experience is a different way to read the
Bible: less like a reference book, more like a story.

This is a lot simpler than most Bible studies or church-wide campaigns. It consists of a few basic ingredients—a version of the New Testament free of chapter and verse numbering—which was added centuries later-- a 40-day reading plan, and five simple discussion questions.

The Faith Covenant Church Growth Groups will be meeting once a week at various times from February 12 through Easter. The church’s Sunday message series will follow the reading plan.
