Farbman: Happy Hour with Detroit Lion, Game on Cancer Fundraiser

Farbman Group, a Southfield, Michigan-based leading full-service real estate company, announced today it will host a happy hour and autograph signing event with Jason Hanson, former kicker for the Detroit Lions, to raise funds for Game On Cancer, a fundraiser designed to alleviate barriers cancer patients face on their road to recovery and advance leading-edge research. The event will be held on Thursday, October 10th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Bingham Office Center located at 30800 Telegraph Rd. in Bingham Farms. Farbman Group CEO Andrew V. Farbman made the announcement.

“We are humbled and proud to partner with Game on Cancer to offer the unique opportunity for our community to meet former Detroit Lions kicker, Jason Hanson, for a great cause,” said Farbman. “One hundred percent of the proceeds go toward Game on Cancer to assist in alleviating barriers or burdens that may interfere with cancer patients' care and treatment, research and supportive oncology programs.”

Game On Cancer is a Henry Ford Health System initiative to fight cancer in partnership with The Detroit Lions and The Detroit Pistons. The team-based fundraiser provides a platform for funding groundbreaking research, enhancing patient care by alleviating barriers or burdens, and by supporting clinical programs that allow for best in class cancer care.

Farbman Group will be accepting donations for Game on Cancer. Hanson will be signing autographs and taking pictures with those who donate. The suggested donation is $10 per autograph, which includes a small item from the Detroit Lions for signature while supplies last. Space is limited for the event.
