Farmington Hills Gets 4G LTE Upgrade on AT&T Network

A tower in the vicinity west of 10 Mile and Middlebelt roads was upgraded.

A tower in the vicinity west of 10 Mile and Middlebelt roads in Farmington Hills is among 10 locations in Oakland County that recently received 4G LTE upgrades.

New Hudson, Milford, Rochester Hills, West Bloomfield, White Lake (two towers), Commerce Township, Waterford Township and Pontiac are the other locations that received network improvements.

The changes will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices. With 4G LTE service, they’ll see better service when watching videos, posting to social media or texting family and friends.

“We want our customers to have a great experience. They’ll be able to download, upload, stream and play games faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network,” said Jim Murray, president, AT&T Michigan. “We’re always working to provide better coverage. And we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that.”
