Farmington Hills Police Department Seeks New Citizenry Committee
The committee will serve as a public voice in assisting the police department's goal in maintaining a safe community without prejudice.
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — Farmington Hills Police Chief Jeff King said Wednesday the department is looking to establish a new advisory board made up of city residents.
"As times change and the needs of our Community and Police Department evolve, I feel it is important for us to re-establish a Citizens – Police Advisory Committee," King said.
The committee would represent the community when examining public issues pertaining to the police department. It would also serve as a community voice to assist the police department's commitment to maintain a safe community without prejudice or partiality.
