Farmington Hills Summer Solstice Event Kicks Off the Season
The event marks the longest day of the year with an evening of outdoor activities.

Farmington Hills, MI — Heritage Park is hosting a night of games and other outdoor activities to celebrate the June 20 Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year and first official day of summer.
Participants can take a hayride through the park, enjoy roasting marshmallows around a campfire, explore the Nature Center, create a fairy door and visit the Children’s Garden.
The Summer Solstice Celebration will be held on Monday, June 20, from
7 to 9 p.m.

Activities are designed for all ages. Organizers ask that all participants dress for the
weather. Adults must accompany children on the hayride wagon.
