Farmington Mayor Puts His Job on Auction Block
It was for a good cause, and it provided the mayor for a day an unforgettable experience.

Farmington, MI — Zachary Feczko, 22, presided over a city council meeting and walked with Farmington City Council in the Memorial Day parade during his brief stint as mayor of Farmington.
Wait, you thought Bill Galvin was Farmington’s mayor?
He is, but when city officials were asked to come up with an “experiential” auction item for Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School’s auction, he decided to put his job on the auction block, if only briefly, The Farmington Voice reports.

Galvin said he appreciated the opportunity to donate the unique auction item, and told The Farmington voice he’s “really glad it went to Zach,” who attends Wayne County Skill Center.
