Locals Help The Shirt Box Celebrate 30 Years
Customers enjoy hot dogs, cupcakes, chocolate and more.
Hot dogs, cupcakes and chocolate were on the menu Thursday evening as The Shirt Box in Farmington Hills celebrated 30 years in business. The event was a benefit for the Michigan Institute of Urology (MIU) Run for the Ribbon, an organization that raises funds for prostate cancer research, screening and treatment.
Business owners Ron Elkus and Rod Brown welcomed guests starting at 5:30 p.m. A short program with speakers Huell Perkins of WJBK-TV and noted author Jeffrey Zaslow followed at 7 p.m.
