Mail Taken in Farmington Hills Neighborhood

Police say witnesses reported seeing two teens in a white Nissan taking mail in the Kendallwood subdivision.

A Farmington Hills resident called police Saturday after seeing two teenagers take mail out of a box in the 28000 block of Kendallwood.

According to Farmington Hills Police Sgt. Scott Cronin, the witness said the 16-18 year old boys were in a white Nissan four-door vehicle. The mail was in a box with a flag that the resident left up to signal items had been placed for pick-up. The incident occurred at around 10 a.m., he said.

Another resident in the Kendallwood subdivision also reported seeing a white Nissan driving through the neighborhood, but no other mail thefts have been reported, Cronin said. Anyone with information should call Farmington Hills Police, 248-871-2610.
