North Farmington High Volleyball Fans Urged to 'Pink Out' Stands

Meet-and-greet and fund-raiser to include raffles, a silent auction and other events to raise money for breast cancer research.

The North Farmington High School girls’ volleyball team will play a volleyball game, known as “Pink Out,” on Tuesday, Oct. 14, to raise public awareness as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink so the school can “Pink Out” the stands.

A meet-and-greet starts at 4:30. A massage chair station will allow fans to relax and raise money for breast cancer research. Additionally, concessions, 50/50 raffles, a silent auction and games will be held as part of the fundraiser.

Of special interest are the “Dig for A Cure” custom T-shirts to “Pink Out” the stands for folks whose wardrobes don’t include pink.

The freshman game begins at 5:30, and the varsity game at 7 p.m.
