Officials Expected to Approve New North Principal April 26
Candidate Richard Greene comes to Michigan by way of Illinois

Retiring principal Rick Jones informed the school community yesterday that a successor has been chosen for his position.
In an e-mail to North Farmington parents, Jones wrote:
"Mr. Joseph F. Greene, Jr., Associate Principal of Instruction from Rolling Meadows High School in suburban Chicago, has distinguished himself in and out of the classroom. As a social studies teacher at North Niles High School in Skokie, Illinois, he has earned their Teacher of the Year Award, Most Inspirational Teacher Award, and the Golden Eagle Excellence in Teaching Award."

Jones added that Greene's administrative resume "reflects a depth and breadth of experience with multiple areas of success and expertise."
Greene's appointment will not be official until Farmington School Board members vote on April 26. Between now and then, Jones wrote, Green will be visiting the school.
