Student Arrested For Making School Threat On Social Media

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — A 17-year-old Farmington Central High School student was arrested for posting a threatening message on social media at the end of the school day Wednesday. Police say Myreon Daquan Davis, of Redford Township, made a threat against the school. He was arrested for false reporting/threat of terrorism and arraigned before 47th District Court Magistrate Michael Sawicky, who set his bail at $50,000 or 10-percent surety.

According to the report, Farmington Public Schools administrators contacted the Farmington Hills Police Department immediately after learning of the threat. The threat was traced back to Davis; his family was reportedly cooperative in the investigation and no weapons were located in the home.

Davis will return to court for a preliminary exam at 9 a.m. April 6.
