Thieves Take GPS, Muffler, Shotgun from Vehicles in Farmington Hills

More than half a dozen residents report damage to their vehicles and items stolen between Nov. 28 and Dec. 3.

Thieves targeted vehicles in a number of Farmington Hills neighborhoods over the past week, taking a variety of items. 

This list of incidents was culled from Farmington Hills Police reports:

  • Botsford Cancer Center - someone smashed a window on a Chrysler 300 and stole a GPS navigation device some time before 3 p.m. on Monday
  • 28000 block of Eight Mile (Village Green Condos) - a catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on Monday
  • 37000 block of Connaught Dr. - someone smashed a window on a Chrysler Town & Country minivan and took a GPS on Saturday
  • 24000 block of Arden Park Drive - someone stole a shotgun and raid vest from a vehicle on Dec. 1
  • Target - someone broke a window on a vehicle parked in the lot and took a GPS before noon on Nov. 28

Residents also reported thefts from vehicles on South Bridle Hills, the 34000 block of W. 12 Mile and the 30000 block of Northwestern Hwy., between Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
