A new blog that focuses on metro Detroit coney island restaurants plans to profile Tina's Coney Island in downtown Farmington.
ConeyDetroit.com reports that restaurant owner Tina Kircos is a first-time grandmother and noted the upcoming restaurant profile.
Authors Katherine Yung, a Detroit Free Press reporter, and Joe Grimm, former Free Press reporter and now a journalism professor at Michigan State University, co-author the blog and have released Coney Detroit, published by Wayne State University Press.

ConeyDetroit.com is dedicated to restaurants serving the "natural-casing hot dog topped with an all-meat beanless chili, chopped white onions, and yellow mustard." In addition to breaking coney-related news, the authors are profiling 100 coney islands in 100 days.
