Who's Hiring? These 8 Farmington Hills Companies, For Starters

More than 60 companies — including eight in Farmington Hills — will be talking to applicants today at the second annual Oakland Job Hub at Oakland University in Rochester.

For companies to take part in the event, which is sponsored in part by the City of Farmington Hills, they were required to have immediate full-time openings in southeast Michigan. Most of the job openings are in IT and engineering. Last year, the event attracted 1,500 job seekers.

The 10 a.m.-3 p.m. event is free to all job seekers, though if you plan to attend, you are asked to register online first. Registration and details about all of the job openings are available at www.mijobhub.com.

The Oakland Job Hub is 10 a.m.-3 p.m. today at the Oakland Center on the campus of Oakland University, 2200 N. Squirrel Rd. OU is not in session this week, so there is plenty of free parking available in the campus lots.
