Even though school today was another great day - momma volunteered and everything - I would say the talk of today is the movie Lilah is currently watching. I think I've talked on here before about how Lilah and her mum like to visit the American Girl store in Chicago and my wife has some of the dolls she is going to pass on to Lilah when she is a little older. Well, right now Lilah is watching a movie starring one of those American Girls (Samantha, I believe) while the doll of Samantha sits next to her. I don't think I've seen her look so happy in a while. Obviously other things make her happy, as well, but this is just a different kind it would seem.
My involvement in school today was really just dropping Lilah and her mum off and picking them up at the end of the day. I do really like these days where Allison gets to volunteer, though, because she gets to be involved and that makes Lilah happy and, if you've had or have kids, you know when they are happy we are all happy.
Sadly, however, that really limits what I have to say today. I did, however, just find out Lilah's next field trip will be pretty cool. We're going to be going to a place where the kids can make their own pieces of pottery (we had a place like it in Marquette called Hot Plate) and that should be a lot of fun.
