Beta Sole Foundation hosting Elf Event at Soaring Eagle Dec. 19

Event features food, Christmas presents, Santa, arts and crafts, carnival games for Michigan kids; Still time to volunteer, donate

The Beta Sole Foundation — a Mt. Pleasant-based nonprofit focused on community and education — will welcome more than 350 Mid-Michigan youths to their Elf Event Holiday Party, which will be held Dec. 19th at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant. The event begins at 11:45 a.m. in the Soaring Eagle Casino Ballroom, then at 4 p.m. participating kids and their families will be transported to the Soaring Eagle Waterpark for more fun activities until 7 p.m.

The Elf Event is Beta Sole Foundation’s biggest community Holiday event this year, and provides a true Christmas extravaganza full of food, presents, fun holiday games, and a visit with Santa, arts and crafts, carnival games and much more — and is especially important for children in need who may not get that type of Holiday joy and hope otherwise.

“Every year, we give these kids a full day of pure Christmas joy that they’ll never forget. We feel more important than the gifts we provide, it shows people care about them, that there is love in the world and hope for a brighter future. ” Beta Sole Foundation President Anthony Demasi said. “Many of these children don’t expect much at Christmas due to economic hardship, so we’re proud to step in as a nonprofit and offer them this experience at no cost.”

Attendees must RSVP ahead of the event. Volunteer opportunities and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Also, anyone wishing to donate to support the event and Michigan families can do so via the event’s GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/third-annual-elf-holiday-celebration.

Direct inquiries and participation, sponsorship or volunteering can be made via email to: kendalbrown@betasolefoundation.org, or by phone at (312) 288-6798.

Also, as part of the nonprofit's fundraiser leading up to the event on Dec. 19, a limited edition set of "Benevolent Elf" NFTs has been made available at https://rarible.com/betasolefoundation.

There is a limited supply of this launch, and the crafty Elves (made by Beta Sole Scholars) work hard to support the mission of the Beta Sole Foundation. All proceeds raised by these Elves are 100% donated to its charitable purpose. Since Beta Sole Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Community Charitable Organization, they will give the purchaser a tax donation receipt they can use on their taxes.
