• City's Clio Road Service Center to provide local payment option following closure of Consumers Energy's East Court Street payment office (theflintcouriernews.com) — Flint residents who pay Consumers Energy bills in person will soon have a new option at the City's Clio Road Service Center, replacing the East Court Street office that closes November 30. The north-side center, which already handles water payments and health resources, will add energy bill processing with details on hours and start date coming soon.
   

• MDHSS awards $300,000 to community violence initiatives in Flint and Saginaw (midmichigannow.com) — Flint residents will see new investment in anti-violence work as the Crim Fitness Foundation receives part of a $1.5 million MDHHS grant to expand community violence intervention. Over the next two years, the Greater Flint Community Safety Collaborative will use the funding to coordinate partners, share crime data, and connect residents with resources aimed at preventing conflicts before they escalate.
   

• Google Maps Appears to Show Sidewalk Tattoo Session in Flint (banana1015.com) — A quirky Google Maps image from 2025 appears to show someone getting a tattoo right on a Flint sidewalk, complete with a folding chair and makeshift setup. The odd snapshot has amused locals online and sparked a nostalgic look back at big-name concerts and long-gone Flint-area bars that residents still miss today.
