• Man arrested in attempted armed robbery at Fremont auto parts store (wzzm13.com) — Police in Fremont say a man was arrested Sunday evening after allegedly threatening staff with a weapon at the O'Reilly Auto Parts on West Main Street and then fleeing. A state trooper took him into custody shortly afterward, and the Newaygo County Prosecutor will review possible charges. Residents are thanked for sharing surveillance footage and can still report tips to Silent Observer.
