Here are the top three stories today in Grand Rapids:
- Kent County partners with PetHub to update its dog license program. The updates will feature a QR code on the back of license tags so that individuals can quickly scan the code to access information on a found lost pet. Registration into the program can be completed online for $17 a year. (WZZM13.com)
- Grand Rapids Community College will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Feb. 15 at the Raleigh J. Finkelstein Hall. The clinic will offer booster shots to the community and will be open to GRCC students and staff as well as the rest of the Grand Rapids community; there is no appointment necessary. This clinic is part of a wider initiative of clinics that the Community College has provided over the course of the pandemic. (MLive.com)
- The Grand Rapids Chamber announces a new board chair and members. The Chamber has named Jeff Connolly as the chair of the Board of Directors for this year. Connolly wants the Chamber to be seen as the community's portal to the City's business community that offers resources into the issues and policies that impact local business. (Press Release Desk)
